In the city of Jericho, there is a former Muslim site dedicated to the Prophet Moses (Nabi Musa in Arabic), which according to Muslim tradition is buried here. This is a large complex that includes over a hundred rooms, and is easily recognizable by its many white dome above. It was built by Mamluke Baybars in 1270.
