The village of Emmaus is well known for having been the place of one of the most moving appearances of Christ after his resurrection. Indeed, two disciples of Jesus are abbot by his death, they begin a march from Jerusalem to Emmaus. They meet a stranger who takes care of their concerns, can give them a writing lesson that makes their heart burner. Finally, as they share the evening meal, it breaks that great pain and they recognize it. Suddenly, Jesus raised a dead man from their sight, and they immediately hurry back to Jerusalem.
