Lower Galilee / Periods: Roman, Byzantine, Arabic.

Beit Shearim was a Greek and Roman city, it is also a famous archaeological site, because of its remarkable necropolis,
where a series of catacombs were searched in the side of the hill.
We also find artificial tunnels and caves, there are hundreds of coffins dated about the 2nd C – 5Th C AD.
These graves were rich Jewish families from many countries around Israel who asked to be buried in the Land of Israel,
near Rabbi Yehuda Hannasi whose grave is in one of the groups of tombs. This place was filmed in VR-360 by the team of 360HolyPlaces©.
